We had a great start to the week. We had our normal forest walk this morning and it was cold but gorgeous. We walked to the local creek and marvelled at all the frost.
In Math, we’re still focusing on Fractions. Today, we were converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and vice versa. Later in the week, we’ll be multiplying and dividing fractions before our review and test next week. There’s no homework today, but there will be most days this week.
We continued our Read Aloud novel, Small Spaces, after lunch, and then had French and Career, where we’re working on goal setting and managing all the work that students will be facing in grades 6 and 7, and beyond into high school.
