Today, grade 7 students began working on their Foundational Skills Assessments (or FSAs). The FSAs are written in grade 4, grade 7, and grade 10, assessing how students across BC are doing in reading, writing, and math. We completed the written math portion this morning and we will complete the entire assessment throughout this week.
During the FSAs, grade 6 students began a writing assignment that they’ll be sharing with the class on Friday for Halloween. Throughout the week, they will have their own assignments that they work on while the grade 7s work on FSAs.
Students had the chance to meet our new Vice Principal, Mr. Parhar. He came in for a visit in the morning, and then taught our class French in the afternoon.
