Today was an important day. We spent the afternoon learning about the history, violence, and legacy of World Wars I and II. Many students learned for the first time about how awful these wars were, how many lives they took, and what some of the lasting effects of these wars were. Tomorrow, we’ll be continuing this learning. If you or your family has been affected by the history of wars, it would be very meaningful to have conversations with your children about that this week.
